La serata conclusiva di Umbria Jazz 26 ha visto protagonista il cantautore londinese Elvis Costello nella sua unica data italiana. Musicista prolifico e poco incline a essere incasellato all’interno di rigide classificazioni, Costello si è presentato sul main stage dell’Arena Santa Giuliana (già calcato in più di un’occasione dalla moglie Diana Krall) accompagnato dai The Imposters con Charlie Sexton. A scaldare in pubblico in attesa del concerto dell’artista inglese l’opening-act “made in New Orleans” della cantante (di origine britannica) Judith Owen.
